In times when public funding is under threat, it is more important than ever to pursue innovative solutions that create housing and reduce costs. One such solution is modular housing— a method MHSA has long championed.
To help share this innovation with policymakers, funders, and developers, MHSA partnered with architect Marc Margulies, retired principal of Margulies Perruzzi Architects.
Margulies and his team produced a video showcasing the many benefits of modular construction for supportive housing: faster timelines, lower costs, fewer delays, and excellent results.
The video also highlights the development of new modularly built supportive housing in Worcester, led by the South Middlesex Opportunity Council and designed by Margulies.
