Valerie manages the work of MHSA’s Programs Team, developing effective organizational systems and implementing system improvements to ensure that the Programs Team is operating as efficiently as possible. Prior to joining MHSA, Valerie spent her career working in a variety of fields across Massachusetts, including transportation, land conservation, and food insecurity. After obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, Valerie completed a service year with AmeriCorps VISTA.
