Monica oversees MHSA’s federally funded permanent supportive housing programs for chronically homeless individuals, managing over 154 units of leased housing across the Greater Boston, Central, and Northeast regions of the state. She partners with landlords, service providers, state and city agencies to ensure that individuals obtain and maintain stable housing with successful tenancies. Prior to joining MHSA, Monica spent over five years working in the Emergency Assistance shelter system for families experiencing homelessness. She worked directly with homeless families on obtaining permanent housing and making progress toward economic self-sufficiency. Monica received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Psychology from Boston University.
