MHSA recently completed a series of listening sessions with current tenants of permanent supportive housing. We gathered 21 tenants, mainly in the Greater Boston Area, and asked about their experiences in their current housing and what they would seek in new housing development. Our findings are in the attached report.
We intend to use these insights on privacy, autonomy, and dignity in housing to help guide and inform our process of selecting projects through the MASH ARPA Development & Capacity Building grant funding, and in our ongoing work regarding permanent supportive housing (PSH). We encourage you to review these results and action steps as we hope they might inform your work with PSH as well.
