Dear MHSA Members and Partners,
I’m very pleased to announce the promotion of Caitlin Golden to Chief Policy & Strategy Officer effective January 1st. I am excited to ring in the new year with Caitlin assuming this new leadership position in the organization.
In her new role, Caitlin will have an increased and expanded leadership role in MHSA’s public policy and advocacy work, and member and community engagement. She will also be more involved in guiding our communications and overall organizational strategy. We are in the process of hiring a policy associate to assist her.
Many of you have worked with Caitlin over her 16 years at MHSA. She has done so much for this organization and served in so many different roles. Caitlin originally came to MHSA in 2007 for her Harvard Divinity School field education before joining MHSA full time in 2009. Since then, she has served as Outreach Coordinator, Director of Public Relations & Community Engagement, and Director of Public Policy. In all these roles Caitlin has applied her tremendous skills and dedication to advancing the mission of ending homelessness.
We look forward to Caitlin’s leadership work at MHSA in the future and to our continued partnership with all of you in 2024 and beyond.
Sincerely,
Joyce Tavon
Chief Executive Officer
Massachusetts Housing & Shelter Alliance (MHSA)
