CSPECH Proven as Effective Response to Homelessness and Its High Health Care Costs

MetroWest Daily News has published “Shelto: The role of housing in our health,” an article by the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation President Audrey Shelto. The article demonstrates that the Community Support Program for People Experiencing Chronic Homelessness (CSPECH), an innovation of MHSA and the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership, has been proven as an effective response to chronic homelessness and its high health care costs.
