MHSA Member Agency Bay Cove Human Services is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
Tenancy Preservation Project (TPP) Specialist – Per Diem
TPP is a Housing Court affiliated program that develops and operates innovative and flexible services that preserve tenancy and prevent homelessness for many of metro-Boston’s most vulnerable tenants. The ideal candidate will work directly with clients referred by Housing Court, Housing Authorities or other housing providers, service providers and Legal Services. In response to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Department of Housing and Community Development has provided temporary funding to allow TPP to serve certain populations facing housing instability specifically due to the Pandemic. This position will provide assessment, service plan development and effective crisis intervention for tenants who meet eligibility.
This is a temporary position (funding through June 30, 2021).

Housing Coordinator (MH / LTSS Housing, Boston)
The Housing Coordinator will assist persons to obtain housing by assessing eligibility, conducting housing searches, assisting with applications, maintaining meticulous housing search records indicating what resources have been applied for, what address was used, coaching Persons to follow up regularly to check status and update information on file, and assisting with the mitigating process as needed. The ideal candidate will train and coach all Integrated team members regarding housing first principles and available housing resources, and assist in the provision of treatment and supports directed at both successfully transitioning Persons into new housing and to maintaining Persons’ tenancies as well as Assist Persons in the execution of leases and orient Persons to their lease terms, subsidies, and how their change in housing may impact their benefits.

Housing Coordinator (Health Care Integration Centralized Costs, Jamaica Plain)
The Housing Coordinator (HC) supports the Community Partner (CP) teams which provide intensive care coordination and clinical care management for MassHealth enrollees with complex medical and behavioral health needs who are enrolled in an ACO or MCO. This position partners with Care Coordinators to ensure that specialized housing services are adequately provided to enrollees. These services may include: Assessment and Navigation to other Tenancy Support Programs, Pre-Tenancy Support Services, Tenancy Transition Services, and Tenancy Sustaining Services. The ideal candidate will be at the helm of organizing and coordinating resources and care pathways that will have an impact on housing stability for enrollees in direct response to the Enrollee’s healthcare needs across multiple settings, and inclusive of both LTSS and SDoH needs.
