MHSA is excited to participate in Ending Homelessness: What Successful Communities Do Differently, the second Community Meeting of A Faith that Does Justice (AFTDJ), which welcomes Rosanne Haggerty and Fr. J. Bryan Hehir. Both MacArthur Foundation Fellows, Ms. Haggerty and Fr. Hehir have decades of experience in the public sector, combining their passions for addressing social issues with unique strategies to unify communities. Fr. Hehir will interview Ms. Haggerty as she describes what successful communities do differently to end homelessness. Together, they will discuss the challenges related to homelessness in the United States. The discussion will include remarks from AFTDJ founder and director, Peter W. Gyves SJ, MD, as well as insights from an individual who has experienced homelessness. This special night will also include smaller group discussions after the conclusion of the talk and a Q&A session with the speakers.
