Thank you to everyone who joined us for Boston Homes for the Brave Cut-a-Thon in Milton on Saturday, November 14, 2015!
Thanks to the generous support of all who participated in the event, we have raised nearly $10,000 through sponsorships, 100 haircuts, raffle tickets, and donations!
We extend our special thanks to the Pariser family and Mackie’s Barber Shop for hosting the event. Thank you also to the Milton Police Department for grilling hot dogs and hamburgers during the event and to Connor Lynch of Milton Access TV for DJing throughout the day!
100% of all proceeds from Boston Homes for the Brave Cut-a-Thon will directly help homeless veterans.
If you were unable to attend the event, please consider making a donation below to help us reach our goal of $10,000 before the end of 2015!
About the Initiative
Last year, City of Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh joined First Lady Michelle Obama’s national Mayoral Challenge to eliminate veteran homelessness by the end of 2015. Mayor Walsh’s initiative, Boston Homes for the Brave, helps homeless veterans access stable housing.
You can help Boston meet its goal of ending veteran homelessness. Please consider donating to support those who have served in our armed forces!
