Cheryl grew up in Medford and has lived in the Greater Boston area for her entire life. After graduating from high school, she began working as an assistant for various law firms, settling into the specific field of patents. A mother of three, Cheryl is no stranger to hard work. After facing a very challenging time in life, Cheryl and her children persevered. Cheryl's passion and commitment to ensuring that all voices can be heard is evident in her presentations. A dedicated advocate and speaker, Cheryl began her involvement with the Faces of Homelessness Speakers' Bureau through the National Coalition for the Homeless many years ago. When the Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance began our own Speakers' Bureau in 2010, Cheryl was one of the first to sign up. Cheryl enjoys traveling and is an avid baker and confectioner.
