The MHSA Speakers' Bureau is dedicated to providing opportunities for people who have experienced homeelessness opportunities to share their stories and educate the public about solutions to homelessness. MHSA established the Speakers' Bureau in 2010, supported by the National Coalition for the Homeless (NCH) and the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS). Since we began, we have reached an estimated 20,000 community members across Massachusetts and New England.
Presenting to schools, faith communities, and other community groups, speakers provide insight into the realities of homelessness, raise awareness about the importance of housing, and encourage audiences to engage in efforts to end homelessness.
